Another factor that traditionally made the under eyes a difficult area treat, is the presence of important blood vessels in this region. The use of hyaluronic acid (HA) filler in such areas can be dangerous if the filler is injected into the blood vessel. This can occlude blood flow to important tissue downstream of the occlusion resulting in tragic consequences such as permanent blindness. PRF injections, however, do not pose such a risk given that they are a constituent of one's own blood.
